●Port Marché Otarue (Otaru International Information Center, 1st floor)
offers a wide variety of products perfect for souvenirs, including seafood such as herring and kelp, processed seafood products, local sweets, glass products, local sake and beer from Otaru, as well as specialty products from Shiribeshi, including Yoichi and Niseko, as well as Hokkaido sweets such as Shiroi Koibito and Jaga Pokkuru, Hokkaido-exclusive products, and T-shirts.

Our bright and spacious store carries a wide range of products, including sweets, food and beverages, alcohol, glassware, crafts, T-shirts, magnets, key chains, and more, with a focus on souvenirs from Otaru and Hokkaido.

Tourist Information Center

There are brochure shelves at the counter and by the window.
In addition to Japanese, we also provide support in English, Chinese, and Korean (depending on the time of day).
You can search for tourist information and materials for the Otaru area all in one place.

Foreign currency exchange

We have foreign currency exchange machines available.
We only accept exchanges from foreign currencies to Japanese yen.

The restrooms in the building are clean and comfortable. There are 17 private rooms for women, which reduces waiting times during events and when the facility is crowded. There is also a powder room separate from the washroom.

The barrier-free toilets are suitable for ostomates and are equipped with diaper changing tables. There is also a separate nursing room.

Mobile battery rental and return terminals are available for a fee.

2nd floor/rooftop terrace

Feel the pleasant sea breeze from the second floor observation terrace. When a cruise ship arrives, you can really get a feel for the scale of the venue.

Container Village (Otaru Tourist Parking Lot No. 1)

It features three shipping containers located within a parking lot!
There is a bakery and a hamburger shop on the first floor, and an eat-in space with a view of Pier 3 on the second floor.
Feel free to stop by for a break from driving or walking, or for a casual lunch.
